Why are transcripts sometimes posted late?

We have a small team of transcribers who work very hard to create all of the transcripts that you see on the site. However, our transcribers sometimes deal with things like illness, injury, or other unexpected life events. In those instances, we try to re-distribute transcripts to allow them to get posted as quickly as possible, but sometimes transcripts end up having to go up late because of that—particularly when multiple transcribers have something unexpected come up at the same time.

If a transcript is late being posted, rest assured that the team is hard at work to get it uploaded as quickly as possible!
